Meeting your Lawyer

Inquest Representation ServiceWhen you instruct one of the lawyers from Inquest Representation Service they will want to meet you face to face.  A meeting with your barrister is called a conference.

If the conference takes place in the early stages of the Coroner’s investigation it can be used to advise about the investigation and inquest process, identify the issues and advise whether further evidence might be needed.

Conferences at other stages will be tailored to meet the client’s specific needs. For example, after an inquest has taken place a conference may be required so that the barrister can advise whether there are any grounds to seek a fresh inquest, and the strength of the case.

Usually the conference will take place at the barrister’s office. Sometimes by agreement the conference can be held at a different location.

If you feel that it might be helpful to have a conference with one of our lawyers for advice about the inquest you are involved in please call Inquest Representation Service in confidence and without obligation on 033 00 77 00 97
