Privately Funded

Inquest Representation ServiceInquest representation can be arranged on a privately funded basis, in the event that legal aid is not available. The Inquest Representation Service can advise clients on the likely representation costs involved, once the relevant paperwork becomes available and the number of days the inquest will take place over are known.

Some household insurance policies, business insurance policies, and certain professional indemnity policies, may cover inquest legal represenentation and advice. Contact your insurer for details. We may be able to assist you in completing  insurance claim forms.

See also our Legal Aid for Inquests page for more information on its availability for inquest legal advice and legal representation at inquests.
